Vino Glass Painting Classes

Wine Glass Painting Technique from Carolyn Stitch
Creating hand painted vino spectacles is so much fun and surprisingly easy to do. Since the birthday political party I painted a few more on my own which I put in a basket for a fundraiser my sis-in-constabulary was organizing for a friend with breast cancer. Carolyn Stich kindly said I could share the technique we used at the party here on Kenarry using the hand painted wine glasses I made for the fundraiser as an case.
As with any craft, the hardest part is figuring out what your design should be and what kind of paint to use on glass. I institute the cutest polka dot napkins to use as my blueprint inspiration for these wine drinking glass designs. I wanted the manus painted wine spectacles to be fun and whimsical to make them a little more light-hearted for the friend's breast cancer fundraising event.

2. Affix the design to the wine spectacles
Use painter's tape to attach your blueprint to the inside of the wine glass.
iii. Trace your pattern with paint
Using a pocket-sized paint brush, carefully trace over your blueprint on the exterior of the glass. The design is taped to the inside so y'all're not straight painting on it. You'll meet in the photo I'm using a teal or turquoise colored pigment, but simply listed cerise, yellowish and bluish gloss enamel arts and crafts paints for this project. With these 3 primary colors, you tin create any color y'all desire. Use white or black to lighten or darken your colors as desired. Gloss enamel craft paint is the best paint to use on glass.
four. Pigment other embellishments
